BAND MEMBERS

Made up of exceptional musicians coming from a variety of different backgrounds, the members of Bifröst share a mutual passion and love for the creation of music. Check out the faces that make up Bifröst below.

RICK HEARN

Bass / Vocals

Born on a snowy winters morning, this boy would grow up to be the bass god we all know and love! After crafting his bass skills with Tihition monks high in the Andes he settled down with local bands such as Looking Glass, Indecent Proposal, Perfect Alibi, and Lynchpin. He now keeps the low end down for Uprising and now the mighty Bifröst.

Gear :
Bc Rich and Curbow bass guitars, Mark bass amps and Boss pedals.

ANDY GAVAGAN

Guitar / Vocals

Andy has been playing music since he was 9 starting off on keyboards learning by ear. By the age of 13 he started playing Bass as his brother was learning guitar. Andy was playing in the school band "TBC" and decided to start getting Bass lessons with local Guitar Legend Gerry Hearn. After a couple of years his brother gave up guitar so he thought he would "give it a go" so went back to Gerry for some Guitar Lessons. After 2 years of lessons, Gerry told him to "Get out there and find your own sound." So he joined Unforgiven Kingdom (with Rob) an originals Metal band. He was in that for 2 years and had to give up due to work. Andy then had a bit of a break from music altogether, for work and started a family. He was then approached by Carly & Rick Hearn to join Uprising, which he is still in to date. Andy didn't sing in Uprising for along time but after building up his confidence with singing, decided to get a few singing lessons. Then January 2016 they formed Bifröst.
